About the Book
Kanani is a Native Hawaiian American Girl doll who loves to learn about her culture and the world around her. In this book, she learns about different jobs that people have and what they do. She also learns about the importance of following her dreams and never giving up.
Kanani's story is told through a series of vignettes, each of which focuses on a different job. She meets a doctor, a teacher, a firefighter, a police officer, and a scientist. Each person tells Kanani about their job and what they love about it. Kanani is inspired by their stories and begins to think about what she wants to be when she grows up.
In the end, Kanani learns that she can be anything she wants to be. She just needs to follow her dreams and never give up.
