Materials: Square sheets of paper (origami paper is preferred but regular paper can be used)

Instructions:

  1. Start with a square piece of paper and fold it in half diagonally and then again to form a triangle.
  2. Unfold the paper and fold the two side corners to meet the center crease.
  3. Fold the top point down to the bottom point.
  4. Unfold the top layer and fold the two side points to the center crease.
  5. Fold the top point down again, tucking it into the pocket formed by the two side folds.
  6. Flip the paper over and repeat steps 4-5.
  7. Fold the two side points in towards the center.
  8. Fold the bottom point up to meet the top point.
  9. Unfold the bottom point and fold the two side points down to meet the bottom crease.
