In this powerful and moving memoir, an Iranian-American Muslim woman shares her extraordinary journey of overcoming countless obstacles to achieve her dreams of equality in her family, the military, and her adopted country.

Born into a traditional Iranian family, the author faced discrimination and prejudice from a young age. She was expected to conform to the gender roles and cultural norms of her homeland, but she refused to be defined by others' expectations.

Despite the challenges she faced, the author was determined to succeed. She excelled in school and went on to earn a college degree. She also joined the U.S. Army, where she served with distinction.

The author's military service was not without its challenges. She faced discrimination and harassment from some of her fellow soldiers. But she refused to give up. She fought for her rights and ultimately achieved the respect of her peers.

After leaving the military, the author continued to fight for equality. She became a vocal advocate for Muslim women and for the rights of all Americans.

The author's story is an inspiring example of how one person can make a difference in the world. It is a story of courage, determination, and hope. It is a story that will inspire you to never give up on your dreams.
